Fishing with the 2013 Raffle Winners
This morning I went out fishing with John Stanton, his wife Wendy, and his two sons Jay and Daniel. These guys were the winners of the half-day fishing charter that was raffled off by my high school fishing club. Jay is a student of mine and is an avid angler.
We moved around a bit but finally found "the spot." Everybody hooked up here and the fish were really nice sized. These guys kept ten for the cooler and called it a day. We released a couple of smaller ones.
In addition to some good fishing, we had great looks at dolphins and many species of birds. It was a beautiful, slick calm morning on the sound and everybody on board enjoyed it.
