About Soundside Adventures

Soundside Adventures was founded in 2009 by Captain Lenny Leta. It began as an eco-tourism business but eventually evolved into a family-oriented boating excursion with a focus on introducing young children to saltwater fishing and ocean ecology. The Kid’s Soundside Adventure has been a highlight of many children's vacation on the Outer Banks. After 15 years on the water, Captain Lenny has retired and the business is now run by his good friend, Captain Gene Maready, and has merged with Sawgrass Guide Service.
