I went fishing with best friend and long-time fishing partner Stewart.
We started Saturday morning with a nice trout and puppy drum bite. He threw grubs and I used a Mirrolure. He caught some nice puppies and a keeper trout. I hooked up with something big but it came off after a short fight. I don't know how anything can come unhooked from a Mirrolure!™? We got run off by thunderstorms after 30 minutes. We went out later and had more good luck.
On Sunday, we picked up more trout, puppy drum, Black drum, and a Weakfish. It was a windy and stormy weekend but we found plenty of hungry fish.
