Inshore Fishing Report

Today was a treat for me because of two little blond-haired girls. Jessie and Cassie were totally focused on fishing and were eager to learn during one of my OBX kid's soundside fishing charters. They watched and listened to everything that I told them and they started catching a lot of fish.

Pam and John (mom and dad) stayed in the bow and fished while the girls and I tore up the sea mullet. They were not keeping fish this trip but offered some to me which I accepted.

We caught a lot of other species as well. After a visit to "Pelican Island" and a great hermit crab adventure, we were back to baiting hooks.

The tide was changing and the bite had slowed but John managed a nice flounder for everyone to check out.

Thanks to all for the fish fry and a special thanks to Jessie and Cassie. You make what I do so much fun!

If your children might be interested in my OBX kid's soundside fishing charters, I still have a couple spots left this summer.
