This weekend I went fishing with my friend Stewart.
On Saturday morning we launched at Oregon Inlet and tried the bridge pilings for Sheepshead. No luck there but we did find a flounder bite. We caught several but only netted one keeper at 16 inches. The bite tapered off quickly as the tide changed and we got off the water. We relaunched in the sound later that afternoon and did well on Spotted seatrout, Red drum, and Black drum.
Sunday we fished the sound again and caught some nice Sheepshead, Black drum, and a keeper Red drum.
