My friend Stewart and I went looking for trout this morning. What a difference from 24 hours ago: yesterday we caught 30 or 40 each but today we only hooked 3 or 4 each.
Strong currents made it difficult to sink small baits to the bottom.
We managed to snag some croakers and Black drum. These species are in the Drum family, along with Red drum and Spotted seatrout. They all make a croaking or drumming sound. They are fun to catch and good to eat.
