Columbia High School's Official Fishing Club, Columbia, NC

The goal of this club is to promote a love of the outdoors through fishing.

The Wildcat Anglers

Columbia High's Wildcat Anglers is a fishing club for students in grades 9 through 12. The club meets once a month when Mr. Leta or Mr. Ziegler teach on topics that every angler needs to know, including rig making, rod repair, reel maintenance, knot tying, and fresh and saltwater fishing techniques.

Club members are given the opportunity to participate in fun activities such as casting contests, pier fishing, surf fishing, freshwater fishing in ponds and rivers, and Outer Banks inshore fishing from Mr. Leta's 24-foot Carolina Skiff®.

❝The club relies on fundraisers that we hold at school plus the donations of time and equipment from tackle stores and other organizations, both local and national. Many thanks to all our sponsors and supporters!❞
