Today I took Mike, Ed, Michael, Allen, and Tiffany on fishing charter.
It started out a little breezy but we found some protected water and cast some jigs. It was slow and Allen caught one Speckled trout a hair shy of being 14 inches. It still swims. In fact, all fish caught today swam away and we caught a bunch.
We moved around and finally found a strong bite. We caught a lot of nice grey trout and that is always fun. They hit and fight hard.
Ed, Mike's father and Michael's Grandfather said, "I think I'm snagged." I saw the line moving slowly away and as soon as I said "It's a fish," the drag started screaming. Ed did an excellent job fighting that big stingray with a little help from his grandson.
The winds calmed and it was beautiful on the water.
We got really good looks at dolphins, found quite a few hermit crabs, and caught a bunch of nice fish.
