Today I went fishing with some friends and colleagues from Tyrrell County, NC: David, Chase, and Brian.
We were chasing Cobia. We started out trolling for Spanish mackerel right outside the Oregon Inlet and caught a couple with one being close to three pounds.
We fished this fresh bait in a chum slick and ended up catching 15 Atlantic sharpnose sharks up to 12 pounds and two Blacktip sharks up to 25 pounds. We saw a small one but never caught a Cobia today.
