Today I fished with Tom and Quinn. We started out casting for trout but the results were poor—one or two small ones. We headed toward the inlet. Unfortunately, it was the wrong direction. The water temperature went down, the water clarity went down, and the grass load went up. We caught a few bottom fish but fishing was very slow.
Then we met up with Tom's wife and rest of the family and went on a soundside adventure. We had fun doing this but cut it short a little due to some scary looking storms that were in the distance.
It was a difficult day but it was fun hanging out with you guys and we'll get them next time.
Catch
- Spotted seatrout (speckled trout or specks)
- Atlantic croaker
- Southern kingfish (sea mullet)
- Pinfish
