Grab a rake and get digging!

22 June 2016: Sorry, Soundside Adventures has discontinued the Outer Banks clamming charter.

The Outer Banks sounds are full of clams and during low tide you and your family can have fun wading in the warm, shallow waters.

If you do not mind doing a little work, your group can dig enough clams for your dinner!

Clamming involves wading in shallow water and using a large rake to sift heavy, wet sand or mud. This is not a suitable activity for small children or people with bad backs.
